SEC Lettings in Yorkshire

Ryden has struck two industrial deals in Yorkshire for Southern Electric Contracting Ltd (SEC), a subsidiary of expanding company Scottish and Southern Energy. SEC will take occupation of the 10,000sq ft former Airedale Glass Factory on a 10-year lease at £52,870 per annum. The property will be used in conjunction with a 25-year PFi contract with Leeds Council as a storage depot to service the North Leeds element of the contract. Bird's Royd II, Bird's Royd Industrial Estate at Brighouse provides a base for SEC in the Huddersfield area. Ryden has negotiated a 6-year lease on a 1,500 sq ft brand new industrial unit at £10,542 per annum. Ryden acted for SEC in both deals. Donaldsons acted for Meldrew limited at Airedale. Eddisons acted for WM Young Developments at Brighouse.
