Ross County Gets Green Light for Site

4th July 2007

Ross County Football Club today secured planning permission for a new office development adjacent to their stadium. The 12,750 sq ft three storey building will be constructed on the south west area of their grounds and will offer flexible space to suit tenants requiring anything from 750 sq ft upwards.

The Club plans to use finances generated by lettings at the development to boost its football budget.  Top of the agenda is the investment in a new manager and team members to get them quickly back into Division One.

Chairman Roy MacGregor said: “This office development is key to our strategy to return the Club to financial sustainability in the long-term and will provide a steady flow of additional income.  The new offices will offer a very competitive rental price and include use of the meeting rooms and training facilities within our existing buildings.  Members of the Leisure, Culture and Sport team from The Highland Council have already located here.  We can even offer new tenants their very own viewing arrangements for home game matches from their own office.  That’s a unique feature for an office.”

Andrew Wilson, Associate at Ryden in Inverness said “This is a very attractive office development for Dingwall and Ross-shire.  Being located at Ross County’s stadium will attract interest from prospective tenants, especially those who make up the Club’s loyal support base.  It’s good to see the directors of the Ross County developing their site and investing in new property to help secure the future of the Club.  The new offices will provide attractive premises at a competitive cost.”

Ryden is acting as sole letting agent for the development.
