Full Occupancy at Peffermill

In a deals bonanza, Ryden has just let five units at EDI’s Peffermill Industrial Estate, South Edinburgh, and has the last available unit under offer.
Three terraced properties, all at 1,500 sq ft, are now let on an individual basis to Zest Foods, JC Traditional Woodwork and Cameron Presentations. The units have undergone extensive refurbishment. Their £7.25 per sq ft leases range from three to five years.
Two further units at 2,400 sq ft each are let to Edinburgh University and DM Audio. The leases, also from three to five years, were agreed at £5 per sq ft.
Alan Herriot of Ryden, acting for EDI, said: “The rapid take up of these units at Peffermill justifies PARC Craigmillar’s future development. PARC Craigmillar – part of the EDI group - has permission to erect the next phase which includes units ranging from 1,000 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft. Completion of the 16,000 sq ft development is scheduled for third quarter of 2008."
