Two Partner Promotions at Ryden

11th April 2006

Commercial property consultant Ryden has promoted Peter I’Anson MRICS and Arron Finnie MRICS to partners of the firm.   Both were recognised for establishing key roles and making an exceptional contribution to the agency and development group, with their appointments taking effect from May 1st. I’Anson (36) is based in the firm’s Edinburgh office and specialises in offices and development.  He is a key member of the development team working on the regeneration of Fountainbridge, and more specifically, Lochrin Square.  He has been involved in high profile deals through his career, and was notably involved in the Inland Revenue deal at the Pyramids Business Park in Bathgate. Finnie (35) works from Ryden’s Aberdeen base and also specialises in offices.  Arron is a recognised agent in the Granite city. Recent projects include the restructuring of major tenant leases at Hill of Rubislaw on behalf of landlords Mayfield Consultants, and significant office lettings at Silverburn House, Bridge of Don to Vetco Gray, and Trafalgar House, Altens to Wood Group. Charles Guest, regional managing partner in Edinburgh said:  “Peter’s promotion recognises the updated role that he has played in the firm’s continued increase in turnover and stature.  Peter brings with him a high degree of professionalism, innovation and expertise to the firm.” Jim Smith, agency partner in Aberdeen comments: “The growth in the Ryden’s Aberdeen agency business has been outstanding over the past three years, with Arron playing a major role in that growth. It is only fitting that his hard work is acknowledged by promotion to partner in Scotland’s the largest independent firm of consultant surveyors.”Both Finnie and I’Anson are associates of Ryden at the present time and will take up their new posts this May.
