
Two North Ayrshire Sites Sold

Ardrossan Saltcoats Stevenston Enterprise Properties Limited (APL) and Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire are pleased to announce the joint sale of Nobel Business Park and Stevenston Industrial Estate.The purchaser is Clowes Developments (Scotland) Limited, part of the Clowes Group of companies that undertake property development throughout the UK. Based in Edinburgh, the firm already has property holdings in the Three Towns area.The Nobel Business Park and Stevenson Industrial Estate were developed for business use by Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire and its APL partners on assets originally acquired from ICI. Today there are 42 businesses operating between the two sites, providing significant job opportunities for the local area.On completing the deal, Gordon Arthur, Managing Director of Clowes Developments said "The company is pleased to have extended its investment in North Ayrshire and is looking forward to building on the good work started by APL and SEA”.Michael Wright, Manager of the Global Connections Team at Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire and a Director of APL said: “It is great news that the two estates will be managed and developed by a company with the proven track record of Clowes.
