Nautillus House Now Fully Let

Expanding oil and gas logistics contractor SBS has a new head office in Aberdeen, having just signed a 10-year lease at Prospect Point in the city's harbour area.  The rent agreed is £50,500 p.a.SBS recently acquired Seaforth Maritime which has seen SBS becoming one of the UK’s biggest logistics companies in its sector. They have taken the entire 3,419 sq ft 3rd floor and 954 sq ft of the 2nd floor of the Nautilus House which equates to a total of 4,373 sq ft let in this transaction.Mike Porter of SBS said:”To give the service delivery teams throughout the UK the support they need we must have an efficient Head Office. Nautilus House gave us the opportunity to have all of these support functions under one roof in a location that relates well to our business.”Gordon Pirie, surveyor at Ryden, on concluding the letting, said: “This letting epitomises the strength of the demand for office accommodation in the harbour area of the city.  He added: “Our clients have an ongoing refurbishment programme at Prospect Point. The complex provides good quality, cost-effective space and we can provide single rooms for one man operations up to suites of 5,000 sq ft.”The Prospect Point development has seen 12,500 sq ft of space let in the last 6 months.Ryden represented Prospect Point Investments; SBS was self-represented.
