John Swan in £2.8M City Property Deal

John Swan & Sons plc, the Edinburgh-registered livestock auctioneer, has entered into a conditional agreement with German discount supermarket chain, Aldi to sell a former grazing site of 1.4 acres at Chesser Avenue, off Gorgie Road in Stenhouse on the west side of Edinburgh. The total price agreed is £2.8 million with a £50,000 non-returnable deposit. The sale is subject to planning consent being obtained and the site is almost adjacent to Asda.
