Fife's Largest Factory Disposal This Year

Ryden, on behalf of Wordsworth Holdings plc, today announces the sale of the former Buko factory on Ashley Road, Southfield Industrial Estate in Glenrothes. The 294,689 sq ft (27,378sq m) property is situated on a total site area of 6.3 hectares (16.7 acres). The successful purchasers, Tilly Masterson, will sub-divide the property over the next 9 months to offer a range of unit sizes and generally transform the property into the 'Buko Business Centre'. The redeveloped property will offer a mix of office, production and warehousing space at competitive rentals and on flexible terms. Tilly Masterson’s John Gavin said: "The successful regeneration of this substantial property will afford a major boost to economic development in Fife." This is one of the largest factory disposals in Scotland this year. The asking price for the building was offers in the region of £2.75 million.
