Acquisition for James Donaldson & Sons Ltd

Timber specialist James Donaldson & Sons Ltd has acquired additional industrial accommodation on Muiredge Industrial Estate in Buckhaven, Fife to expand its Donaldson Timber Engineering division – the largest independent truss rafter manufacturer in the UK.
The new 22,500 sq ft property sits on a site area of just over two acres and adjoins Donaldson Timber’s existing factory. It has good quality office accommodation at the front and an extensive yard to the rear of the main industrial and production area.
Ian Hawkins of James Donaldson & Sons said he is pleased with the acquisition which will allow the company to expand their operations in Buckhaven and in turn will lead to the creation of a further 10 to 15 jobs in the area.
