Four new associates at Ryden

Ryden has promoted four staff to associate level following their exceptional performance and contribution to the firm’s leading market position.  Eddie Fiddes, Catherine Thornhill, Iain Taylor and Mandy Watson took up their new positions on 1 May.

Eddie is based in the property management department in Aberdeen and has been with Ryden since 2004. A lifelong- Aberdonian. Eddie graduated from Robert Gordon University with a BSc Hons in Building Surveying and qualified as MRICS whilst working with Aberdeen City Council as a member of its asset valuation team.

Catherine has been based in the consulting department in Aberdeen since joining Ryden in 2008. She graduated from Aberdeen University with BLE Hons in Urban Surveying and Planning and qualified as MRTPI in 2006. Prior to joining Ryden, Catherine worked as a research assistant at Aberdeen University, development management at Aberdeenshire Council and as a planning consultant at SMC Jenkins and Marr.

Iain has been with Ryden since 2006 and is based in the office agency department in Edinburgh.  Originally from Inverness, Iain graduated from Napier University in Edinburgh with BSc Hons in Estate Management and qualified as MRICS when working in the office agency team at Vail Williams at its Guildford and Heathrow offices prior to returning to Scotland and joining Ryden.

Based in Glasgow since joining last year, Mandy is part of the firm’s City Property Glasgow team. With an honours degree in Land Economy from Aberdeen University,Mandy has worked for FG Burnett in Aberdeen as an agent before moving to Glasgow to work as a planning and environmental consultant at Entec and then as an office agent with CBRE. Mandy is dual qualified as MRICS and MRTPI and was working in the property services team at NHS Ayrshire and Arran before joining Ryden last year to support Derek Tillery in the asset management of the portfolio of our new client City Property Glasgow (Investments) LLP.
