Client: Cobalt Data Centre Development Syndicate
  • Advised on the forward funding of a new data centre.  The centre is a £183 million facility comprising of c.4,274 sq m of tier 3 accommodation spread across eight separate data halls.
  • Targeted private investors with an opportunity which combined the tax benefits of an Enterprise Zone with the suitability of the site for development and a high qualifying rate due to the cost of the building.

New Grade A office development of 16,450 sq m
Client: Commercial Estates Group
  • Acquired the investment interest in the previous building on behalf of Commercial Estates Group.
  • Provided development consultancy advice throughout the development period from the initial acquisition.
  • Carried out a high profile, targeted sale strategy and agreed terms with CS Real Estate (Credit Suisse) to acquire the building for a price in excess of £90 million, a yield of sub 5% initial.
